RAR® produces the alloys RAR-12 and RAR-27 from ZnAlCuMg system,
which are placed on the local market under name “SERBIAN BRONZE”
®, as all components of the alloys are of domestic origin. These
alloys have an excellent combination of physical and mechanical
properties what is obvious from the table presented below. In
our country SERBIAN BRONZE has the wide range of applications as
material for bearings and bushings, sliding laths, worm wheels
and other parts in mechanical engineering, where high
tribological characteristics are required. It is worn out less than tin bronze and Babbitts for over 30%, whereas the journal are worn out as little as 35%. Besides, SERBIAN BRONZE has better antifriction properties i.e. less coefficient of friction, better emergency running properties and better embed ability. In present conditions great advantage of RAR-alloys is the fact that they do not contain imported components as it is the case with tin in bronzes and Babbitts. RAR® produces these alloys by its own original technology which guarantees very high and stable quality. It is confirmed by Silver and Gold Charter received on the 36th and 37th Belgrade International Fair of Technique (1992 and 1993). RAR® produces, upon request, the bearings and even the separate pieces and delivers them in accordance with buyer’s wish – as casting, bearings machined to pre-measures and finally machined bearings. |
