 Characteristic
          The largest bearings which RAR® is able to make, at present, are those having volume up to 560 liters, height up to 2000 mm and width up to 2000 mm. The longest delivery term is ten days from the date of finishing and receiving of tools for casting. At buyer’s request, Certificate of Quality is issued containing chemical composition, physical, chemical and mechanical properties. Following the global trends for application of the alloys from the ZnAlCuMg system, RAR® is extending the application of SERBIAN BRONZE in the sense replacement of steel, grey cast iron, brass, aluminum alloys and even ZAMAK (AG-40A, AC41A) alloy, as follow:
          – hardware , especially for application in aluminum constructions in order to avoid the electro-chemical corrosion which is inevitable and strong in case of steel bolt/aluminum
          – armature , first of all RAR-12, which belongs to the alloys with the highest castability as it has high corrosion resistance and anti-toxicity
          – fittings , the same reason as armature
          – extruded alloy RAR-27 has hardness up to 150 HB, tensile strength of about 570 MPa.
 
Cooperation
          In cooperation with NISSAL, Niš RAR® produces SERBIAN BRONZE in the form of various profiles (round and rectangular tubes, wires, bands etc.) and it is recommended as the construction material as it has, apart from other positive properties, the excellent machinability.
